GFRY 2011 Project: COM(M)A

The GFRY 2011 project, entitled COM(M)A, will investigate post-disaster relief in Chile. While the primary focus is on architecture, the studio seeks to address community needs, using the school as an incubator for social progress. The studio begins with research in fall, a site visit in spring, and culminates in a summer implementation. The objective is not to arrive at all of the answers to post-disaster relief, but to form the right questions and develop prototypes that generate an international dialogue. Over the course of the year, I will post research that contributes to that dialogue.
